Oceania Cruises Dress Code Guidelines: Effortless Sophistication
At Oceania Cruises, we aim to create a relaxed yet refined atmosphere for all our guests. Inspired by the preferences of today’s travelers, we’ve refreshed our dress code to keep things stylish yet simple – whether you’re heading to a leisurely lunch or a refined dinner.
As you get ready for your cruise, these guidelines will help you pack with ease for an elegant and casual look throughout your voyage.
DRESS CODE FOR OCEANIA CRUISES
Think effortless sophistication – polished, upscale and comfortable. Lightweight linens, cottons, silks and breathable blends are ideal. Evenings can be cool due to air conditioning, so we recommend packing a light sweater or wrap. Gentlemen may also consider bringing a lightweight sport coat, though it is not required.
Daytime Attire
Suggested attire includes:
- Sundresses
- Polo shirts
- Tailored shorts
- Lightweight slacks
Swimwear is welcome at the pool, but please wear a cover-up when entering dining areas.
Evening Attire
For a refined evening look, we suggest:
Ladies:
- Dresses or jumpsuits
- Elegant blouses with slacks or skirts
- Fashionable jeans
- Dressy sandals, pumps, fashion/dress sneakers
Gentlemen:
- Collared shirts, knit tops, or dressy polos
- Lightweight sweaters
- Tailored pants or dressy jeans
- Loafers, fashion/dress sneakers or dress shoes
Note: Casual wear such as shorts and t-shirts is only permitted in the Terrace Café or Waves Grill during the evening.
Additional Guidelines
- Robes and slippers are provided for in-room use only.
- Baseball caps are not permitted in The Grand Dining Room or specialty restaurants during dinner. They are acceptable in the Terrace Café and Waves Grill.
- Appropriate footwear is required indoors at all times. Athletic shoes and flip-flops are not permitted in the restaurants or public areas after 6 pm.
- Faded, acid-washed, torn, or distressed jeans are not suitable for evening wear.
