Holiday Drinks that Bring the Cheer

Below are four of our festive cocktail recipes being served on board – bringing an extra touch of seasonal cheer across our fleet. From spiced creations that spread Christmas Joy to velvety smooth delights, each sip of these classic holiday drinks with a twist evokes the luxury of life at sea.

Christmas Joy cocktail

 

COUNTDOWN TO MIDNIGHT
SERVES 2

INGREDIENTS:

  • 3 oz Gin
  • 1 oz Campari
  • 1 oz Fresh Lemon Juice
  • 1 oz Maple Syrup
  • 2 oz Sparkling Wine
  • 4-6 Drops of Lemon Bitters
  • 6-8 Fresh Raspberries
  • Additional 2-4 Raspberries for Garnish

DIRECTIONS:
Add the fresh raspberries and fresh lemon juice into a mixing glass and muddle well. Add the rest of the ingredients, except sparkling wine, and shake very well. Double strain into two chilled coupe glasses, top with the sparkling wine and garnish with raspberries.

 

CARIBBEAN NEW YEAR ROYALE
SERVES 2

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 oz Brugal 1888 Rum
  • 1 oz Crème De Banana Liqueur
  • 1 oz Domaine De Canton Ginger Liqueur
  • ½ oz Monin Vanilla Syrup
  • 6 oz Sparkling Wine
  • Dried Banana Chips, for Garnish

DIRECTIONS:
Pour the sparkling wine into two chilled Champagne glasses. Then add the rest of the ingredients into a mixing glass and shake well. Double strain over sparkling wine and garnish each with a dried banana chip.

 

PERFECT SNOWFLAKE
SERVES 2

INGREDIENTS:

  • 3 oz Bacardi Oakheart Rum
  • 2 oz Heavy Cream
  • 1 oz Monin Gingerbread Syrup
  • 1 ½ oz Egg White
  • ½ oz Monin Vanilla Syrup
  • Dehydrated Lemon Wheels, for Garnish

DIRECTIONS:
Add all the ingredients into a mixing glass and shake very well without ice (dry shake). Then add ice and shake well again. Double strain into two chilled martini glasses and garnish with lemon wheel.

 

CHRISTMAS JOY
SERVES 2

INGREDIENTS:

  • 3 oz Bourbon
  • 2 oz Pineapple Juice
  • 1 oz Fresh Lemon Juice
  • 1 ½ oz Egg White
  • 1 oz Maple Syrup
  • ½ tsp Cinnamon Powder
  • 4-6 Drops Old Fashion Bitters
  • Cinnamon Sticks, Pineapple Triangles & Cinnamon Powder for Garnish

DIRECTIONS:
Add all the ingredients into a mixing glass and shake very well without ice (dry shake). Then add ice and shake well again. Strain over ice into two rock glasses and garnish with the cinnamon stick, pineapple triangle and cinnamon powder on top.
